“ This is a fun spot, you can customize your bowl with lots of options for protein (Alaskan fish only available during dinner hours), veggies, and sauces. Meals also come with a drink, soup, rice, and ice cream! I think if we didn't come during a slow time, it would have been difficult to properly fill our bowl if there was a line behind us but when you have the time, it's okay. Or there's also the all you can eat option. I'm giving it 4 stars primarily for flavor, the sauce options were great, but subtle and not thick. It does make it a healthier bowl. Soup was satisfying, but could also be salty. Again, just a really fun spot for the family. Staff was a nice, they have a cute patio too. As other said, don't overstuff because take out boxes cost a quarter each. I forgot about the ice cream when we were there, so we'll be back! ”
“ I have been coming here consistently since they've opened this location. I absolutely love YC's and am so happy that they opened this one up since they closed their other location years ago. My favorite part about coming here is that I can always switch it up with the various options of add-ons that they offer. My personal favorite is adding lots of beef and chicken as their chicken here is the best. I also love to add, peanuts, edamame, water chestnuts, spinach, and bean sprouts. After the add ons I always get a big helping of noodles and make their special YC's own sauce to add on top. The cooks here always grill quickly and I enjoy watching the process of my food grilling. I also like to add some extra toppings that they have at the grilling station such as soy sauce and sesame seeds. The ambience during dinner time is always great and I appreciate the free ice cream offered during then. My personal favorite hack is to get my fortune cookie and dip it in the ice cream as it tastes just like an ice cream cone! ”
“ I always do the AYCE serving and pricing option. I ALWAYS leave feeling terrible stuffed with a ridiculous amount of delicious wok'd up meat and veggies. There's so many ways for you to craft your perfect wok'd up meal... at the end you have a noodle option (several choice including gluten free) The sauces are items are clearly labeled and super fresh! I stack to the HEAVENS and start with a HUNK A MEAT, then veggies, onions and keep going down the line to customize with sauce flavor combinations. After I hand it over to my guyyy at the grill and he "MONGOL-IF-IES" the meal. I try extremely hard to make my moneys worth. I'm always super full. ”
“ YC's is super affordable when you consider all the perks of making something exactly the way you like it and taking left overs home. The set price includes drinks and ice cream and the options are endless whether you are gluten free, vegan, or picky. Togo boxes are .25¢ so keep that in mind or bring your own and tipping can be done up front or directly in cash to the grill guys. A bang for your buck, $18 will feed me for three days! ”
“ The concept is really cool . You control the amount of meat/veggie you want in your dish. The type of sauce mix and the noodles. Really yummy and good price . ”
“ YC's feels like a best kept secret that people are catching on to. It's Saturday night and the line is out the door! Order the large and go ahead and pay for a takeout box... you're gonna need it. I love to do the classic smash...add stuff in, smash it down into the bowl to make more space. Don't forget to snag a small bowl near the sauce to fill up with the amazing sauces and while your meal cooks, grab rice, crispy wontons, and drinks- all included. Don't forget the soft serve at the end! You will easily get 3 meals out of this and it's totally worth it. ”
“ A nice clean Mongolian restaurant. Well stocked meats and veggies. Gather your protein, add your. Veggies, mix up a sauce and have them throw it on a flaming hot grill. Unlimited drinks, free ice cream. Definitely will stop again. Get the large bowl, you can cram enough in one bowl to more than avoid the unlimited bowl. ”
“ Stopped in for lunch Food: fresh, readily stocked, large variety of veggies, noodles, rice, soups and fresh meats and tofu, Alaskan cod after 5:00 pm. . Vanilla and strawberry yogurt for dessert. Service: I'm spoiled here. The staff is so attentive and helpful. Ready to answer questions and assist with sauce combinations Ambiance: nice patio seating and lots of seating inside. The noise level is medium so you can have a decent conversation. Fun place for the family or groups of friends. Allergy friendly:the sauces are clearly marked and the grill is cleaned before they cook your food if you have allergies. Severe allergies use your own judgement. I must say that this will not be my last visit here. I felt so informed and FULL when I left! The guy at the front(Ben) was just amazing. ”
“ Been coming to YC's for close to 15 years. So many options to make your bowls! Healthy protein packed meals and many different sauces to add to your bowls. Many types of noodles to choose from! ”
“ YC's is a local 30 year Phoenix chain with 3 locations: Scottsdale, Tempe, and Gilbert. It offers something for everyone, from carnivores to pescatarians to vegetarians. There are two bowl sizes. We opted for the large, since it was only $1.00 more than the small. The meal includes soup, frozen yogurt, and a refillable drink. You can also pay a small amount more for unlimited portions. They offer a military and senior citizen discount (age 55 and up). The helpful cashier answered all of our many questions and helped us pick out our sauces. The secret is to wear the disposable gloves and use the wax paper piece, which is provided, to smoosh down everything in your bowl, so it can be filled as much as possible. The chefs cook your meal within minutes. There's a small bar with wonton crisps, white rice, and soup. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were stuffed. We will definitely be back to this location. ”
